People who live in an area not far from the river, have a feeling of worry when the rainy season arrives. One of them is the people in Tobadak Subdistrict, Mamuju Tengah Regency, who live not far from the Budong-budong river. Every time the rainy season arrives, Tobadak sub-district is often hit by flooding due to the overflowing of the Budong-budong river.
For this reason, the Ministry of Social Affairs established a Disaster Preparedness Village (KSB) in Tobadak Village, Tobadak District to improve community preparedness for flood disasters.
A total of 60 Tobadak residents were given training starting from mapping the area, preparing an evacuation scheme, first aid, to establishing an evacuation post. With the formation of the KSB, it is hoped that it can be a provision for the community in dealing with floods that may come at any time.
