In mid-January, Pekalongan was hit by floods due to the overflow of the Sengkarang River.
Mustaqim is one of the residents affected by the flood. He admitted that he did not expect that the flood level would reach 1.4 meters.
"Alhamdulillah, it's safe, only things were washed away," said Mustaqim.
The flood this time, continued Mustaqim, was felt to be more severe because he thought the flood would only reach half a meter.
On January 25, the Ministry of Social Affairs set up tents and distributed logistics for residents affected by the Pekalongan flood. This is to ensure that the needs of the residents can be properly met.
