Two villages in the District of West Tulang Bawang (Tubaba), Lampung Province, were selected by the Ministry of Social Affairs to form Preparedness Disaster Village (KSB). The two villages are Panaragan Village and Udik Village, which often experience hurricane and flood disasters due to overflowing of the Way Kanan and Way Kiri rivers.

The establishment of the two KSBs in Tubaba Regency was inaugurated directly by the Regent of Tubaba, Umar Ahmad accompanied by the Head of the Sub-Directorate (Kasubdit) for Preparedness and Mitigation, Iyan Kusmadiana,
as well as the delivery of logistics worth more than IDR 106 million to fill the two granaries of KSB Tubaba for IDR 53 million each.

The Regent of Tubaba hopes that technical capabilities like this will not only be known by volunteers who have joined, but the Tubaba community in general. In addition, it is hoped that KSB will not only be established in two regional points, but the entire region will become a disaster preparedness area as well.
