BANDUNG (July 16, 2021) - MoSA through Abiyoso Center Cimahi today distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) in the form of business capital worth IDR 4,000,000 and IDR 1,000,000,- to people with physical disabilities.

Following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, MoSA is committed to improving the welfare of the entire community, including people with disabilities.

The delivery of this assistance is a form of follow-up to the results of the assessment carried out by Abiyoso team on persons with physical disabilities.

Yan Martin, a person with a physical disability who receives this venture capital assistance, fulfills the daily needs of his family by renting out play station rentals, besides making food packaging from used paper. However, after the Covid outbreak, the order for these packages began to decrease. His wife helps by selling fried food every afternoon.

Yan Martin's mobility with his disability uses a skateboard he designed himself. Previously he had used a wheelchair, but his hands were not strong enough to pedal the wheel because the wheelchair provided was difficult for him to use.

ATENSI worth IDR 4,000,000 will be used by Yan Martin for business capital by selling electricity vouchers/tokens at his home.

The head of Abiyoso Center, Isep Sepriyan said that this assistance must be used to run a business, and Balai Abiyoso team will assist in accompaniment the purchase of equipment needed for the business.

Besides Yan Martin, there is also Engkus, a person with a physical disability who received business capital development assistance to purchase a cassava grater machine for his kicimpring business.

This business is already quite developed and with the condition of his disabled hands, the process of grating cassava for ingredients for making kicimpring is very hampered because so far he has had so much difficulty grating coconut with a manual/traditional grater.

Yan Martin and Engkus are very grateful for the ATENSI given for the business capital, and are determined to be serious in running the business with the capital that has been provided. They are people with disabilities who are passionate about work.
