JAKARTA (June 12, 2023) - The Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) received four awards from the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) related to ASN management at the Aneka Bhakti Building (GAB) MoSA, Jakarta, Monday (12/6).

The four awards consist of one award from KASN for the Results of Measuring the Level of Compliance with the Implementation of Basic Values, Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct (NKK) through the NKK Maturity Instrument (IM-NKK).

Meanwhile, three others from BKN in Main Categories: Implementation of Norms Standard Procedures and Criteria (NSPK) for the Best ASN Management; Rank 1 in the Category of Competency Development; and Rank 5 in the Category of Application of Information System Data Utilization and Computer-Assisted Test (CAT).

The awards were given by KASN and BKN as an appreciation for MoSA in ASN management throughout 2023. MoSA was considered capable of building and socializing the system to all of its ASNs, as well as providing good service to the community.

This award could not be separated from the leadership of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini in ensuring the strengthening of employee performance and improving services to the community. This award was also the result of the hard work of all levels of employees.

By this award, the Minister of Social Affairs asked her staff not to be complacent. Precisely, this was a motivational trigger for her and her staff to continue to improve the quality of performance and service to the community.

"Alhamdulillah, the struggle that we have been working on, there is appreciation for us at the Ministry of Social Affairs. However, this has also become a trigger so that we are not satisfied here. We will continue to provide the best service for the community," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

According to her, she often emphasized this to ASN and non-ASN employees within MoSA. "That's what I keep saying that our main goal of working here is how we can best serve the community," she said.

The same thing was conveyed by the Chairman of KASN Agus Pramusinto. According to him, this award was an appreciation for MoSA for the outstanding performance. "At least, what we assess is how the Ministry of Social Affairs builds the system, then socializes and applies it to civil servants in that environment," said Pramusinto after handing over the award, Monday (12/6).

He said that measuring the level of NKK compliance was, in essence, a monitoring model designed to encourage activation of the implementation of NKK by government agencies, to prevent and protect ASN employees from behavior that was not in line with ASN's basic values, code of ethics and code of conduct.

As a continuation of the final part of the announcement of the results of the 2022 NKK compliance level measurement, KASN submitted a certificate of measurement results to MoSA as one of the government agencies that obtained the maximum predicate result, namely PATUH, with a total score of 373 or an index of 0.93.

The handing over of the award was not the end. "However, what is important is the continuity of the service that the community really feels," he added.

This was as mandated by President Joko Widodo so that democracy has an impact on public services. "Hopefully, with Mrs. Risma's leadership, the Ministry of Social Affairs’ services will really benefit," said him.

MoSA's achievement received support from the Chairman of Commission VIII DPR RI Ashabul Kahfi who was also present at the award ceremony, Monday (12/6). He stated that the achievement of MoSA was a long process of hard work, dedication and commitment from all levels of MoSA in providing the best service to the community.

Furthermore, he revealed, his party and members of Commission VIII DPR RI often witness the performance of MoSA in the field. "I myself really feel that it is extraordinary that the presence of the Ministry of Social Affairs through its UPT in the regions, responds so quickly to cases in the community," said Ashabul.

Moreover, he continued, MoSA is a ministry that focuses more on social services. "Therefore, I hope that this award will trigger and encourage ASN friends within the Ministry of Social Affairs, to continue to provide the best service for people in need," he said.
