BOGOR (9 May 2021) - Bogor Post Office has distributed Cash Social Aid (BST) stages 12 and 13 to 121,940 beneficiary families (KPM) in Bogor City and Bogor Regency until Monday (03/05). This amount is 94.75 percent of the total allocation of 128,694 KPM.

"Up to now, the aid has been channeled to approximately 121,940 KPM or about 94.75 percent of the total KPM in stages 12 and 13," said the Head of Bogor Post Office Pupung H to reporters at the Bogor Post Office, Juanda Street, Bogor City, West Java, Monday (3/5/2021).

The total BST received by KPM in stages 12 and 13 is IDR 600,000. The Post Office, said Pupung, distributed BST in accordance with the data received from the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA).

Pupung said that at the end of the payment period, the Post Office will report the paid amount, the remaining payment, and the undistributed payment to MoSA.  After 12 May, the yet distributed BST funds will be returned to the state.

"If the payment starts on 12 April, the closing will be on 12 May or an approximately 30 days. After that, the data will be locked and the aid cannot be disbursed. The yet disbursed fund will be returned to the state treasury,”said Pupung.

Pupung explained that KPM must bring the original ID Card (KTP) and Family Card (KK) along with their photocopies during distribution process. "Then the original KTP will be photographed by the payment officer and put into the application. Only then did they get IDR 600,000 for two stages, "said Pupung.

No party can replace the KPM during BST collection, except for family members from the same KK and are adults. For elderly and sick KPM, PT Pos implements a community strategy, namely by opening services at kelurahan office, sub-district office, school or football field.

Bogor Post Office Paymaster Taufik Ismail said that he often delivered BST directly to KPM's house. According to Taufik, many elderly KPMs cannot collect BST at the post office or the community office. In the distribution process, Post Office officers are accompanied by kelurahan, RT, and RW officials.

“Many distributions are done like that. Some elderly people can only sit or bedridden. They can't go anywhere, so we deliver the aid directly to their house,”said Taufik. He admits that he can help KPM sincerely by going to them directly. According to him, it is the responsibility of the paymaster to ensure that BST is well distributed.

KPMs in Bogor City and Bogor Regency have experienced many benefits from the BST that they received. A resident of Cimanggu, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, Nani Susilawati admitted that she was greatly helped by BST.
She also said that the service provided by the Bogor Post Office as distributors were very good. "The service is very good and the aid is very useful," said Nani.

Having received BST since 2020, she admitted to having received aid disbursement eight times: four times amounting to IDR 600,000, then four times amounting to IDR 300,000.

As a single parent and entrepreneur, BST has relieved the economic condition of HER family in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Even Nani uses BST funds as business capital. She uses BST funds for her ready-to-wear business.

Amsori, a resident of Cibadak, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City also felt the BST benefits. BST is used to reduce family daily expenses by buying groceries. "It is useful with current conditions," said Amsori. So far, Amsori has received BST five times. He hopes that this assistance will continue.
