Caring for the Environment, Youth Organization “Citra Pemuda” Collaborates with the Community to Turn Garbage into Compost

BANDUNG BARAT (June 27, 2021) – Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini appreciates the concern for social pillars to empower the community. Mrs. Risma as the coach of the National Youth Organization encourages all parties to adhere to health protocols amid community efforts to move the wheels of the economy.

 

In line with the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Risma, Citra Pemuda Youth Organization takes the initiative and develops a community that cares about the environment from scattered garbage. The youth group from Laksanamekar Village, Padalarang, West Bandung Regency, felt called to manage waste.

 

From this call, a program to manage household waste by involving the community was carried out by Youth Organization so that it had economic value.

 

It started with going around from house to house of local people, as well as providing education on how to sort waste according to its type.
