BANDUNG (23 May 2021) - Cafe More has a special feature compared to other coffee places. The Cafe More, which is located on Jalan Pajajaran Bandung, employs a disabled barista who is an expert in making a cup of coffee.

Sri Ayu Astuti (24), usually called Cici, is one of the beneficiaries (PM) assisted by the Wyata Guna Rehabilitation Center. Cici has benefited from the barista training provided by the hall, from theory to practice she has learned.

"Most of the practices, from operating the appliance to making espresso. Thank God, the day after tomorrow there is a better improvement when studying it," said Cici.

After graduating from barista training, Cici did not immediately work at the More Café, where the trained PMs channeled them. However, the effectiveness of the training got him trained when the Café needed a barista.

Cici feels happy because she has productive activities and can earn some money, as well as being able to meet other disabled friends.

"Initially I myself wanted to meet friends with disabilities and through the Wyata Guna Rehabilitation Center I was able to meet them," he said.

"I found out from the internet and heard on the radio, finally, I got information about this Wyata Guna Rehabilitation Center and it was responded well," added Cici.

After attending the training and getting to work, she also continued to learn. Moreover, she hopes to be able to open a tavern independently.

Cafe More, with baristas with visual sensory disabilities, has the philosophy of "A cup of coffee that you drink creates jobs for people with disabilities," wrote a message on the wall of the cafe which has this favorite menu of palm sugar coffee.

"Hopefully the new batch will be better without any obstacles," said Cici.

The Wyata Guna Rehabilitation Center itself provides guidance, services, and social rehabilitation through guidance on basic educational, physical, mental, and social knowledge.

In addition, re-dissemination skills and further guidance for people with visual disabilities are also applied, so that PM can be independent and play an active role in community life.
