HKSN 2022, "Abiyoso" Center in Cimahi Holds Cheap Market

CIMAHI (December 28^th, 2022) - Although the peak of the commemoration of the National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN) 2022 was held last December 20^th, but in some areas, the excitement is still felt. "Abiyoso" center in Cimahi, for example, held a cheap market in commemoration of HKSN 2022.

The market has been going on since Monday (26/12) and ends today (28/12).  This activity is also one of Anniversary celebrations series of the "Abiyoso" Center in Cimahi as a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) under Ministry of Social Affairs which fell on October 30^th.

"Apart from commemorating HKSN 2022, this market is one of the series of Anniversary of Sentra "Abiyoso" in Cimahi. The series has been carried out since October 2022, starting from mass circumcision, social service, to holding a cheap market," said the Head of the "Abiyoso" Center in Cimahi, Agung Hendrawan.

The implementation of this activity was delayed because the "Abiyoso" Center in Cimahi became one of the Cianjur earthquake disaster response teams. However, the bazaar continued without reducing the essence of the anniversary of "Abiyoso" Center in Cimahi itself.

Agung admitted that the cheap market became a place for the beneficiaries to introduce their products, one of which is the famous krispi mushroom product. In fact, Cianjur earthquake survivors who have skill in making rendang, a Padang specialty, were also given access to sell their products.

The cheap market was held by involving various parties, including Bulog in the sale of rice and flour, and a retail company (Borma) that sold various household necessities under market prices.

The "Abiyoso" center in Cimahi also involved MSMEs from Cimahi Selatan Subdistrict, especially Leuwigajah Village. A total of 30 MSMEs are engaged in Sundanese culinary business and modern culinary, such as market snacks, snacks, contemporary snacks, and home cooking.

Besides, this market also provides entertainment from people with disabilities. "The uniqueness of this market is in our products, namely krispi mushrooms. Also, the involvement of talents with visual sensory disabilities who perform here to entertain the visitors," said Agung.

The market also provides free herbal health checks and acupressure treatment. In collaboration with Leuwigajah Village, the market and health check-up services can be enjoyed by residents of Leuwigajah and its surroundings.

The market held by Sentra "Abiyoso" in Cimahi received a positive response from consumers, including Oti. "This market has many benefits. Buyers, like me, can easily find variety goods, the prices are cheap, and the place is comfortable. So, many people also know the Sentra’s beneficiaries and MSME products," she said.

Sellers from various MSMEs also take an advantage from this market. "Alhamdulillah, my sushi products at the "Abiyoso" Center cheap market in Cimahi sold out quickly. The cheap market really helps me, besides selling online, I also often sell at bazaars so that my products are quickly recognized," said Sasa.

Agung also said that by inviting MSMEs, it also expands the network for beneficiaries. "By inviting MSMEs, it is hoped that the beneficiaries can join the MSME community in Leuwigajah as well. This is an opportunity for our beneficiaries," he said.

Agung will also make this cheap market an annual agenda, in addition to filling the anniversary of the "Abiyoso" Center in Cimahi, this agenda is also a way to apply the values of social solidarity.
