MoSA, through "Satria" Center in Baturraden, provided Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) to the orphanage on February 21st, 2023, long before this news spread on social media.

The assistance provided was in the form of basic necessities for 35 ODGJs at the orphanage. These basic necessities were consisted of rice, sugar, green beans, milk, cooking oil, sardines, tea, biscuits, soy sauce and other foods.

Head of "Satria" Center in Baturraden Darmanto said that MoSA had provided assistance since February 2023 based on proposal submitted by the orphanage. "We have been providing assistance since February 2023. We also continue to follow up according to the direction of Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini to meet their basic needs. Currently, we will provide access to population data recording, physical health care, and mental health care for the ODGJ," said Darmanto.

It didn't stop there, MoSA also provided packages of personal hygiene tools and clothes for ODGJ.

Meanwhile, the Tasks Executor of Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities, Ani Martina Rezeki said that she worked with the Population and Civil Registry Service (Dukcapil) to access residence rights for ODGJ.

"We have followed up. Currently, we are also coordinating with Dukcapil to provide access to population data recording for ODGJ," she said.

Ani said that the role of the media in providing information on beneficiaries who needed help, both from social media and online media, had helped MoSA a lot.

"There is still a lot of information that has not reached us. So, please let us know if there is somebody who needs help. Hopefully, with the help of journalists, we can reach (beneficiaries) more widely," she said.
