JAKARTA (April 19th, 2024) – The Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) is holding a public test regarding the mechanism for implementing village deliberations (musdes/muskel) or other names at village level in the verification and validation process of Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) at MoSA Office in Salemba, Thursday (18/4). This public test is very important as a commitment to maintain transparency and accountability of DTKS.
Presenting at the meeting included representatives from the Law Enforcement Officials (APH), such as the National Police Task Force, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Attorney General's Office, representatives of supervisory elements, such as the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and the Indonesian Ombudsman. Apart from that, other participants representing local governments were also joining virtually.
In the meeting chaired by the Secretary General of MoSA, Robben Rico, the participants provided constructive suggestions and input in an effort to perfect the implementation mechanism for musdes/muskel/other names at village level in the verification and validation process of DTKS. Robben said DTKS is not survey data, but real data sourced from villages/other names at village level. Therefore, musdes/muskel/other names at village level are important and necessary in the process of improving DTKS in the regions.
In public examination, Robben conveyed the provisions regarding procedures for submitting proposals for entering DTKS, proposals for receiving social assistance, and proposals for stopping or deactivating data carried out through musdes/muskel/ other names at village level, as well as the role of regional government in determining the quota for social assistance recipients for each village/other names at village level.
"We hope that by having a musdes/muskel/other names at village level meeting, at least once every three months, we can raise public awareness to jointly supervise the village government," said the Head of the Social Welfare Data and Information Center (Pusdatin Kesos) Agus Zainal Arifin. If supervision is carried out optimally, the quality of DTKS will be well-maintained and the social assistance provided will be right on target.
Representative from the Corruption Eradication Commission's National Corruption Prevention Strategy (Stranas PK KPK), Karina said that openness and transparency are needed when verifying and validating data in musdes/muskel.other names at village level. If it is so, the credibility of the data presented can be ensured by the public themselves.
Special Staff to the Minister (SKM) for Human Resources Development and Programs at MoSA, Suhadi Lili, said that efforts to maintain data credibility were carried out by implementing the Next Generation-Social Welfare Information System (SIKS-NG). Every data entered has been checked and balanced so that the data presented in DTKS is truly accurate and can be used as a reference in providing social assistance to the community.
