JAKARTA (January 27, 2020) - In order to increase employee capacity, the Directorate General of Poverty Handling held a Public Speaking Training activity at one of the hotels in Jakarta.The training was attended and opened directly by the Secretary General of Poverty Handling (Sesditjen PFM), Nurul Farijati.

In its opening, Sesditjen PFM said that with this public speaking training, it is expected that the participants can speak well in front of various audiences with the right methods."With this training hopefully we can understand more in talking and placing ourselves with the audience, for example adjusting while in the office, in the field, or at the party," said Sesditjen PFM.

In addition, he hopes that the participants can become more responsive and capable employees in order to become superior SDM (Human Resources). "If the knowledge has been obtained and can be applied, hopefully we can all become superior SDM in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo’s to make Advanced Indonesia," explained Sesditjen PFM.

The speaker presented at the training was a professional speaker, Steny Agustaf.He is a public speaking teacher at LKN (Lingkar Kalaya Nuswantara) as well as a film player, radio announcer and television presenter. One of the things Steny conveys in the training is how we deliver good presentations in public.

"In delivering the presentation, we have to understand what we want to convey, rule of three (opening, body, summary), make it as simple and short as possible, and make a long impact on the audience," Steny said.

Participants attending the event were internal employees in the Poverty Handling (PFM) Directorate General of Poverty Handling (Ditjen PFM) who came from the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (Ditjen PFM), the Directorate of Poverty Handling (PFM) Region I, the Directorate of Poverty Handling (PFM) Region II, and the Directorate of Poor Management (PFM) Region III.The purpose of this training activity is to improve the ability of employees of the Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM) in speaking well in front of the public in various situations, both in the high level meeting to the leadership in the field to the KPM (Families of the Beneficiaries).
