GORONTALO (30 September 2021) – The Minister of Social
Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, in the activity of matching the data on PKH, BST, and
BPNT/Sembako Programs in Gorontalo Province appealed to all parties in
distributing social assistance such as Himbara, local governments, social
services, and social assistants to accelerate the distribution of social
assistance in Gorontalo.
The Minister of Social
Affairs conveyed to Himbara and the Regional Government in Gorontalo to improve
coordination and synergy in accelerating the distribution of the social
assistance more effectively and efficiently, one of which is by allowing the
distribution of BPNT/Sembako Program in Gorontalo Province using a cash
mechanism and not in the form of food ingredients. This is done by considering
the geographical conditions and traditions that develop in the area. “I asked
Himbara to bring the card straight away and cash it right away, so it doesn't
work twice. The local government also provides a place so Himbara doesn't have
to be bothered," said the Minister of Social Affairs (30/9).
In this activity, the
Minister of Social Affairs ensures and checks data through comparisons and
explanations from Himbara, Regional Heads, Social Services, and social companion.
This is done to find out what the existing obstacles are and try to distribute
social assistance in Gorontalo Province to reach 100% (one hundred
percent). For this reason, the Minister of Social Affairs requested that all
parties related to social assistance work together to solve existing problems
and the beneficiary families (KPM) can receive their rights in full. "We
will fight for even one person, for the best interest of the beneficiaries,
sir. If you need a companion, just write a letter for the KPM who are farming,
so they know how much they received," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
