The head of BBPPKS Yogyakarta, Eva Rahmi Kasim, in
her speech said that this activity is a form of the institution's care for the
residents around BBPPKS.
“We are here not only to provide training but also
to provide benefits for our residents. We want to be loved by the community,
respected and needed as a government agency," explained Eva.
In addition to distributing necessities for
the elderly, BBPPKS Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Red Cross (PMI) of
Sleman Regency carried out blood donation activities which were attended by 31
people who were employees and the surrounding community.
“Blood donation is very necessary because a drop
of our blood means a lot to other people. Besides that, blood donation is
healthy for us and can save other people," concluded Eva.
