JAKARTA (19 May 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs received an e-Learning Education and Training module for Human Resource Management Center of Social Welfare (Puskesos) Integrated Referral Service System (SLRT) from the Australian Government of Foreign Affairs (DFAT). The module was symbolically accepted by the Head of the Social Welfare Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat Kesos) in the Microteaching Room of the Social Welfare Education and Training Center, in Jakarta, Wednesday (19/05).

The Head of the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency (Badiklit Pensos), Syahabuddin, in his remarks, said that the electronic learning method or e-learning is expected to be able to overcome the large challenges of the human resources at Puskesmas-SLRT which are spread in various regions.

"The development of learning methods through e-Learning is one of the implementations of the concept of Merdeka (Independent) Learning. With this learning method, the majority of Puskesmas-SLRT human resources are social volunteers, wherever and whenever they can learn to increase their capacity," said Syahabuddin.

The training module was prepared by the “Widyaiswara” (Coach) team of the Social Welfare Education and Training Center in collaboration with DFAT through a non-governmental organization Towards a Strong and Prosperous Indonesian Society (MAHKOTA). Overall, it consists of 11 modules with a total of 108 hours of training (jp) containing 54 jp of Asynchronous Learning (independent study) and 54 jp of Synchronous Learning (accompanied by a facilitator).

The module has been tested in two districts, namely Bogor Regency and Tabalong Regency in September and October 2020. In addition, it has also been implemented in the Training of Trainers (TOT) for 84 participants on February 8 - March 12, 2021.

This module will also be used in future training. Through training module-based education and training, the capacity of Puskesmas-SLRT human resources can be improved so that it is hoped that services to the community can be more optimal.

SLRT itself is a service system that helps identify the needs of the poor and vulnerable to the People Needing Social Welfare Services (PPKS) and connects them with social protection and poverty alleviation programs organized by the central and regional governments.
