SUMEDANG (January 20,
2021) - Helping people who are victims of a disaster, not only can be done in
the form of delivering goods or money, but also in the form of providing direct
support to victims
This is what the
students of the Bandung Poltekesos did, even though during the semester holidays,
they did not dampen their desire to contribute to helping communities in
disaster areas, one of which was the landslide disaster that occurred in
Cihanjuang Village, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency on January 9.
Five Poltekesos students
who are members of the Student Social Service Unit (SBSM) are actively involved
in emergency response activities at the Cimanggung landslide disaster location.
Activities that are
centered at the Cipareuag SDN Survivor Post have started on January 16, 2021,
collaborating with various elements involved in the form of psychosocial
support which prioritize vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly,
according to age group and gender.
It is planned that this
activity will still continue until January 22, 2021.
