Logistics Aid from MOSA to be Distributed to Yalimo This Morning

JAKARTA (5 July 2021) – Social Minister Tri Rismaharini ordered to dispatch logistic aid from the Ministry of Social Affairs to aid the affected residents in Yalimo. The aid arrived on Sunday (4/7/2021) at 16.30 local time at Yalimo Airport, Papua.
 
The logisctic aid would then be brought to the main command post for handling social conflicts located at the Elelim Police Station in Yalimo Regency.

Logistics aid from the Ministry of Social Affairs was handed over to the Yalimo Police Chief, AKBP Hesman S Napitupulu accompanied by Elvis Meage, the Head of the Mental and Spiritual Service of the Yalimo Regency Social Office.

The aid consisted of 3,000 ready-to-eat food packages; 100 children's food packages; 200 sheets of blankets; 200 mattress sheets; 200 packages of kids ware, as well as 3 tons of rice from the Wamena Regional Division of State Logistics Agency (Bulog). There is additional aid in the form of 100 adult T-shirts; 100 children's t-shirts, and 200 sarongs.

"Starting this morning, the aid will be distributed according to the urgent needs at the evacuation site in Yalimo Regency," said Syafii Nasution, Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims, Monday (5/7/2021).
