Ministry of Social Affairs Receives 75,000 Masks from Rider
"Today, for the umpteenth time, we have received aid in the form of masks from the private sector, this time Rider. We will distribute these masks to our officers in the field such as Social Welfare District Workers (TKSK), Social Assistants. , etc., "said the Minister of Social Affairs at the Ministry of Social Affairs Headquarters, Thursday.
The minister, who is familiarly called Ari, said that the masks would also be distributed to poor and vulnerable families affected by COVID-19 who received basic food assistance.
"This proves that the government cannot work alone in fighting COVID-19. So the private sector works hand in hand with the government to make efforts to reduce the impact of COVID-19," said the father of two children.
According to him, the cloth mask bearing the 75th Indonesian Independence Day which was donated by Rider was an effort to help the government prevent the spread of COVID-19 as well as a symbol ahead of Indonesia's independence day commemoration.
In accordance with the government's recommendation to enter the New Normal era, people are required to comply with the health protocol, one of which is to always wear a mask when leaving the house / doing activities outside the home.
"Even though the pandemic situation has made it difficult for several private sectors, Rider as a fabric manufacturer still pays attention to the public by donating masks. This will be very useful in the New Normal era. Thank you Rider," said Minister of Social Affairs Ari.
On the same occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs also hopes that the collaboration between Rider and the Ministry of Social Affairs will be maintained in the midst of efforts to support the government in fighting COVID-19.
