Jakarta (29 July 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs has disbursed 42.9 billion tali asih (award dues) for Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana) directly to their respective accounts through one of the state banks.
"This tali asih was given to 26,050 active Tagana. The data was proposed according to by name by address (BNBA) principle by the Head of the Provincial Social Office and has gone through a tiered assessment starting from the regency/city Social Office," said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini in a written statement on Wednesday. Jakarta (29/7).
Social Minister Risma said that tali asih was given to active Tagana. This is to avoid registered Tagana who have never been to the field receiving tali asih.
"Each Tagana volunteer gets IDR 1,500,000 for six months, plus an incentive of IDR 150,000, so in total each Tagana gets IDR 1,650,000," said Social Minister Risma.
Social Minister Risma hopes that this incentive can increase the motivation and alertness of Tagana volunteers spread throughout Indonesia in providing emergency assistance to disaster victims.
Tagana is a trained social volunteer or community social welfare worker who is concerned and active in disaster management. This disaster management includes disaster prevention, emergency response, and rehabilitation activities.
