JAKARTA (April 16, 2021) - Social Minister Tri Rismaharini represented by the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat attended the 51 Years of Service of Kak Seto and 14 Years of Kak Seto Home Schooling in Jakarta.

Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini was one of the ministers who received an award as "Minister of Children's Best Friend" at this event. The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs also appreciated the dedication of Kak Seto and related parties to the handling of Indonesian children.

This event is a good momentum to reflect on the nation's journey in fulfilling children's rights. One of them is with Kak Seto Home Schooling which provides alternative education for children who need special protection.

The Ministries/Institutions that attended and received awards in this event were the Indonesian National Police (Polri), the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Communication and Information and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA).
