SIDOARJO (December 8, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) reviewed the flood disaster public kitchen in Sidoarjo Regency on Sunday (12/8/2024). During the visit, Gus Ipul showed some of the contents of the Ministry of Social Affairs' logistical aid packages to volunteers who were also flood victims. He revealed some of the items in the packages such as soap, shampoo, and blankets, while interacting with the volunteers with light jokes.

The Ministry of Social Affairs distributed logistical aid worth IDR 174 million, including 250 basic food packages, 100 kids-ware packages, 100 family kit packages, and 200 blankets. In addition, the local government also provided food and nutritional supplements. The public kitchen built in Tarik District produces up to 2,000 packages of rice per day for five affected villages. Gus Ipul appreciated the cooperation between volunteers, the local government, and related agencies in handling this disaster.
