MATARAM (December 9, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul), emphasized the Ministry of Social Affairs' commitment to improving the welfare of the people in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) through the distribution of sustainable social assistance. On Monday (12/9/2024), the Ministry of Social Affairs handed over assistance including basic necessities, prayer equipment, cleaning equipment, and disability aids to 87 beneficiaries at the Mataram Paramita Center. In addition, assistance was also provided to children in conflict with the law, people with disabilities, victims of human trafficking, and former inmates.

This assistance is part of the allocation of IDR 1.24 trillion for NTB in 2024, including food assistance, assistance for the elderly, disabilities, orphans, and cataract surgery. Gus Ipul emphasized the importance of data accuracy in distributing assistance to ensure it is right on target. In the future, the integrated single data system and the 'Cek Bansos' application will make it easier for the public to propose the right recipients of assistance.
