JAKARTA (December 5, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) met with Vice Minister of State-owned Enterprises Kartika Wirjoatmodjo (Tiko) to discuss collaboration in the distribution of social assistance and community empowerment programs in 2025. The discussion included the distribution of social assistance evaluation by the State Bank Association (Himbara) and PT Pos, especially for least developed, frontier, and outermost regions (3T), as well as possible changes in the number of social assistance recipients based on single data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS).

The two also discussed strengthening community empowerment through programs such as People's Business Credit (KUR) and Meekar by SOEs, with the aim of reducing poverty effectively. This collaboration is expected to facilitate the distribution of social assistance and strengthen the impact of empowerment programs.
