Meeting with Commission VIII DPR-RI, Minister of Social Affairs Explains Steps to Increase Data Credibility
JAKARTA (MAY 24, 2021) - Social Minister Tri
Rismaharini presented in a working meeting with Commission VIII DPR RI
regarding the poor people in Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS). In the
meeting, the Minister explained the steps to ensure the credibility of the
data.
The Minister stated that she
always held coordination meetings with some related parties. Among them
are the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Supreme Audit Agency
(BPK), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Attorney General's Office,
the National Police Headquarters, and so on. The coordination was carried out,
including in the decision to “put to sleep” 21,000,156 data on the DTKS.
"For the
distribution of this aid, it is always under budget inspection, Sir. Even though the data had to be corrected since 2015. So, at that time I asked for
permission, this was only for the anticipation so that it would not fall into
the realm of crime. So we go ahead with this, there is no purpose whatsoever,"
said the Minister of Social Affairs in a working meeting with Commission VIII
DPR RI (24/05).
Previously, the Ministry
of Social Affairs has increased the integrity of the DTKS which was later
launched under the name of New DTKS through the Minister of Social Affairs No.
12 / HUK / 2021. The Ministry of Social Affairs has also decided to "put
to sleep" a total of 21,000,156 duplicate data. However, along the way,
the duplicate data can still be used by eliminating multiple names, leaving
only one name.
The double data referred
to in the findings of the Ministry of Social Affairs are double names, or
receive double assistance. To overcome this, said the Minister of Social
Affairs, this was done by eliminating multiple names, so that only one name was
left. The dual names are for the Family Hope Program (PKH), and Non-Cash Food
Assistance (BPNT) / Basic Food Assistance.
The Minister of Social
Affairs confirmed that the decision was made in coordination with related
institutions. Namely the Indonesian Police, the Corruption Eradication
Commission (KPK), the Finance and Development Audit Agency (BPKP), and the
Attorney General's Office.
In the New DTKS, a new
feature was introduced, which allowed the community to propose themselves as
beneficiaries. In the New DTKS, said the Minister of Social Affairs, two
features were added, namely the 'new proposal' and 'rebuttal' features.
"Later it remains only to mention the name, location of residence,"
said the Minister of Social Affairs.
