JAKARTA (17 May 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs is working to improve the data accuracy on social assistance Beneficiaries (PM) in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) which must match the Citizenship Identification Number (NIK).
“DTKS has been updated every year since 2015. There is input from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP) and Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding double data and incompatibility with NIK, "said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini after a meeting with Commission VIII DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (17/5/2021).
The Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) is moving to improve data by involving the Regional Government and the Population and Civil Registry Service (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"We are not going to remain silent. We will keep improving the data involving the Regional Government and Dukcapil, especially when after the input from the BPK, BPKP and KPK," she said.
The field investigation found that one PM could receive nine assistances and have been included as findings by supervisory institutions such as the BPK, BPKP and the KPK.
"Prevention is carried out regularly, one of which is holding routine coordination by inviting supervisory agencies namely BPK, BPKP and KPK," said the Social Minister.
Ministry of Social Affairs conducts routine coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs to complete PMs data at DTKS which must match with the NIK.
"We are going to follow up on the policies and on how to resolve them through consultation with the BPK, BPKP and KPK," she said.
PMs with double data can still receive social assistance. However double data are deactivated and only one that matches with the NIK can receive.
"Recipients who comply with the rules and match the NIK can still receive assistance. A PM who receives 9 assistances, then 8 people are "deactivated" so that they can only receive 1. I remind everyone that nobody should mess with data, "said the Social Minister.
