Responding Cianjur Earthquake Victims, Risma Deliver Assistances and Tagana Mobilization

Minister said that she has directed some MoSA’s Centers in Bandung, Sukabumi, Bogor, Bekasi, and Jakarta to deliver some assistances as soon as possible. She also activated Disaster Voluntary Worker (Tagana) in DI Yogyakarta, Solo, and the surrounding area to help them.

“We have instructed them to help the earthquake in Cianjur. We worried if there are some victims who may be buried under the building. I will distribute to 7 districts that has the worst condition,” said Risma while in DIY.

As directed by Social Affairs Minister, Technical Unit of MoSA, Integrated Center Inten Soeweno, starts to take a step by sending 5 cars which contains logistics for the earthquake’s victims in Cianjur, Monday (21/11) evening.

The distribution process was coordinated by the Acting Director General of Social Protection and Security Robben Rico along with Director General Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazaruddin that is presented in the middle of the victims, who also accompanied by Head of Integrated Center Inten Soeweno M. O. Royani.

Director General of Social Rehabilitation directly observed and delivered some assistances for the victims. He took a look at the victims’ condition at the Regional Hospital Cimacan.

The assistances from Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims through the master warehouses and MoSA’s centers. From the Bekasi Warehouse, there are 100pcs family tent, velbed 50 pcs, 2000 packs of fast-food, and 50 pcs beds.

From Wyata Guna Center Warehouse, there are 1pcs multi-purposes tent, 5 pcs family tent, mattress 50 pcs, bed 20 pcs, and mineral water 20 box.

While from BBPPKS Lembang, there are 34 pcs family tent, 4 pcs multi-purposes tent, 402 packs diapers, 1000 packs fast food, kids’ food 500 packs, and 400 pcs beds.

From Phalamarta Center in Sukabumi, they distributed 2 pcs military tent, 5 pcs family tent, 20 box fast food, 40 box kids’ fast food, mineral water 9 box, family kit 20 packs, kidsware 20 packs, and red-rolled tent 60 pcs, 100pcs beds, 345pcs blanket, 3 packs kitchen tools, 34 pcs velbed, and adult clothes 254 packs.

From Abiyoso Center, there are 133 packs of basic food, elderly nutrition 103 packs, mineral water 50 box, kids’ nutrition 16 packs, and baby nutrition 30 packs.

Assistance in form of buffers tock, such as fast food 64 box @10pcs (total 640 pcs), side dishes 16 box @20pcs (total 320pcs), blanker 120 packs, velbed 18 pcs, mattress 4 pcs, roll tent 50 pcs, multi-purposes tent 1 set, family tent 4 set, and kids’ meal 53 box @8pcs (total 424 pcs).

From Inten Suweno Integrated Center, the assistances are fast-food 920 packs, kids’ meal 696 packs, adult cloths 579 packs, blanker 559 packs, red bed 492 packs, foodware 3 packs, family kitchen tools 13 packs, kids ware 190 packs, and family kit 190 packs.

From Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center in Bekasi, there are premium rice 5kg (100 sacks), sardines 155gr @3pcs (100 cans), beef floss (100 pouch), ginger milk (100 box), Cooking Oil 100 bottles, canned milk (100 cans), canned corned beef (100 cans), Honey (100 bottles), energen (100 box), regal biscuit 22 packs (100 pcs), full cream kids’ milk (40 box), and toothpaste (100 pcs).

Another assistances are toothbrush (100packs), bar soap 3pcs (100 packs), eucalyptus oil (100 bottles), shampoo (100pcs), detergents (100pcs), towels (100 pcs), dishwashing liquid (100 pouches), sarongs (24 pieces), T-shirts (16 pieces), 20 pieces of children's sarongs, and 24 pieces of blankets. Assistance in the form of buffer stock, namely 2,000 boxes of ready-to-eat food, 50 units of velbed, 50 sheets of mattresses.

From Sentra Galih Pakuan Bogor, assistance in the form of rice (100 sacks), 2 l cooking oil (100 pouches), 155 grams of sardines (300 cans), beef floss (300 packs), 10 sachets of milk 25 grams (150 boxes), honey 350 gram (100 bottles), biscuits (100 packs), and eucalyptus oil (100 bottles).

From Sentra Handayani Jakarta with details of blankets (100 pcs), towels (100 pcs), eucalyptus oil (100 bottles), detergent (100 packs), 3 toothbrushes (100 packs), toothpaste (100 pcs), Bath Soap (100 bottles), Roma Kelapa biscuits (500 packs), fast food (100 boxes), TJ honey (100 bottles), UHT milk (500 boxes), Sari kacang kacang (500 boxes), shampoo (100 bottles), and Mineral water (100 gallons).

According to the BMKG report, the earthquake occurred at 13.21 WIB, Monday, November 21 2022. The earthquake was centered 10 km southwest of Cianjur Regency, West Java, with an earthquake depth of 10 km. The earthquake has no potential for a tsunami. **
