Member of the House of Representatives for East Java constituency, Ahmad Nawardi, stated that Social Minister Risma's firm stance was considered natural to respond to the delinquency of unscrupulous field officers who did not work optimally in distributing assistance.

According to the senator from East Java, the Social Minister Risma wants the recipients of the aid to run smoothly and not obstructed by individual's unacceptable behavior.

So far, according to Ahmad Nawardi, Social Minister Risma's performance has been very good. The role of the Regional Representatives Council to supervise the government's performance, sees Social Minister Risma has been working hard to ensure that various social problems occurring in the community are resolved, including the distribution of social assistance.

"The Regional Representatives Council has been actively monitoring the performance of the ministers. For the Ministry of Social Affairs, we see that Mrs. Risma's performance is excellent. Risma continues to go down to the community to make sure there are no problems in the distribution of social assistance or others," said Ahmad Nawardi.

Ahmad Nawardi admitted that Regional Representatives Council received many reports of cuts in social assistance or misappropriation. This was conveyed to the Social Minister and immediately followed up with field checks.

“We have received many reports regarding the cuts on social assistance or misappropriation and we have conveyed it to the Social Minister. Her responses are always fast. Therefore, we really appreciate the Social Minister for her work,” said Ahmad Nawardi.

The same thing was conveyed by a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Golkar Party, Muhamad Ali Ridho. So far, the House of Representatives, especially Commission 8, has become a critical partner for the Ministry of Social Affairs.  Muhamad Ali Ridho acknowledged Social Minister Risma's good work. He stated that there was nothing wrong with Social Minister's anger.

“It is natural and normal because her anger was triggered by mishandled things. If things run accordingly, it should be fine. Unfortunately, there are parties who deliberately turn these issues negatively,” said the senior Golkar politician from Madura.

Muhamad Ali Ridho also said that so far Commission 8 has continued to support Social Minister Risma's steps in carrying out her duties, especially in completing the distribution of social assistance.

"We will support Mrs. Risma's work. And we've found no problems so far," said Muhamad Ali Ridho.
