JAKARTA (3 May 2021) - Social Minister Tri Rismaharini asked all employees at the Ministry of Social Affairs to uphold discipline and maintain integrity, especially in data management. The Social Minister reminded that small mistakes can be fatal, especially if caused by lack of integrity.

"I ask all parts within the Ministry of Social Affairs to uphold integrity. Imagine if we mistakenly typed the wrong numbers, it could result in huge losses to the state, ”said the Social Minister while witnessing the signing of the Integrity Pact of the Expert Staff at the Ministry of Social Affairs Office, Jakarta (03/05).

The signing of the Integrity Pact involved 60 data management officers within the Ministry of Social Affairs. The National Police Headquarters and the Attorney General's Office sent their representatives to act as official witnesses. Three employees symbolically signed the pacts. Present on this occasion were Senior High Officials and Primary High Officials in the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The Social Minister stated that this kind of event should not be taken for granted. It was a part of the procedure to obtain an ISO certificate in IT security. "This is one of the procedures that must be done to obtain ISO. It must be witnessed by the Attorney General's Office and the National Police,”he said.

The Social Minister reminded that data management and budgeting in government agencies did not only involve technology. One must also pay attention to the human qualities that drove it. "We are not only moving tools. Our carelessness would cost the state much money,” she said.

"That's why I ordered the signing of the Integrity Pact. So that we all have to be careful, not careless,“ she said. She was also currently monitoring the legal process for social assistance management case.

Social Minister emphasized that no one knows the age of humans. "So let's give our best. Because we don't know how long our life would be. Believe me, God does not sleep. If we are good, God witnesses it, " she said.
