The Minister also conveyed her condolences to the heirs. "We offer our condolences to all of you. We hope that you and your family will not be lost in sadness. We are creatures of faith, that God has indeed asked for the return of something that we given. Whatever God's will, we cannot prevent it," she said.

Each heir received compensation of Rp. 15 million/victim and food packages.

Minister of Social Affairs also psychologists from the Integrated Centers/Centers of Social Welfare belonging to the Ministry of Social Affairs to provide Psychosocial Support Services (LDP).

"Yes, we already provided an assistance. My staff has also been on the field. We are currently accompanying the families of the victims in their respective homes," explained the Minister of Social Affairs.

"I am very grateful to the Ministry of Social Affairs for helping my family. At first, I didn't know what to do in the future. But, with this assistance, I am very grateful for helping me and my sister," said Silvia Ariel Oktaviani, the son of  Iwan Junaedi, who was one of the victims died in the tragedy of the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang.

Silvi hopes that in the future, she and her family can get attention from the government for her sustainability, because she doesn't want to depend on social assistance. "My family needs motivation not to depend on social assistance. We want to be able to run our own business," she hoped.
