Receiving Indihome Customers' Aid, the Social Minister Will Build a Library with Free WiFi

JAKARTA (31 May 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs continues to raise aids for the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), one of which is from Indihome customers.
"We have initiated various aid for NTT because we need more than just building houses back. We need to build other infrastructure too, including damaged roads and bridges," said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini after receiving aid from Indihome customers at the Ministry of Social Affairs Office, Salemba, Jakarta, Monday (31/5 / 2021) morning.
With Indihome, said the Social Minister, the Ministry of Social Affairs would cooperate to provide free WiFi in the library room which was really needed by students.
"Libraries can be used for learning and fast free WiFi will really help students access lessons and knowledge," said the Social Minister.
Apart from housing aid and other infrastructure, there is also economic empowerment, because people need jobs to increase their income.
"People need economic empowerment, such as raising chickens and goats, growing vegetables and fruits, and providing agricultural equipment aid," she said.
Previously, several agencies stated that they were ready to help the people of NTT, such as Kompas, SCTV, Kitabisa.com, Sidomuncul and currently from Indihome.
"For example, Kompas is ready to help providing books for children so that they can continue to learn and increase knowledge," concluded the Social Minister.
Also attending on the handover ceremony were Director of Consumer Service Venusiana, Edie Kurniawan and Vice President, Mark Manaj as representatives from PT Telkom.
