YOGYAKARTA (30 September 2021) - Head of Yogyakarta B2P3KS, Dr. Oetami Dewi received a working visit from Assistant I (Government and People's Welfare) of the Jombang Regency Regional Secretariat, Drs. Purwanto, MKP, Head of the Social Service Office of Jombang Regency, Hari Purnomo, AP along with members of the Information Study Team for the Development of Social Welfare Services in Jombang Regency.

 

In his introduction, Purwanto said that the main agenda of this team's arrival was to explore information on models for the development of social welfare services and to identify the potential for implementing social research in Jombang Regency. The team believes that Yogyakarta's B2P3KS is the right source to meet the information and implementation needs of social research.

 

“We need a reference model for the development of social welfare services. In particular, we want Jombang to be a location for B2P3KS social research. The results of the research will certainly be very useful and help the Social Service in handling social problems in Jombang.” added Purwanto.

 

Head of the Jombang Regency Social Service, Hari Purnomo added, “The current structure of the Jombang Regency Social Service is new. The provision in the form of information, research results, and service development is very much needed for the preparation of the Social Service program in the future.”

 

Meanwhile, the Head of B2P3KS, Dr. Oetami Dewi said, "We welcome the visit of the information study led by Assistant I. We are ready to share knowledge and information about the results of applied research that has been carried out. B2P3KS has the potential for human resources for researchers from the First-level, Junior, Middle, and even Senior levels who have been in the field of social research for a long time.”

 

"Jombang Regency is currently not one of the B2P3KS research locations. However, in the future, this can be followed up through more intense coordination in the form of, for example, Cooperation Agreements,” added Dr. Oetami Dewi.

 

After receiving the souvenirs, the Head of B2P3KS, Dr. Oetami Dewi handed over research results books, social media research journals, and social media research information symbolically to Assistant I Secretariat of Jombang Regency, Drs. Purwanto, MKP.
