JAKARTA (June 28, 2021) – Starting at the beginning of the week, Monday (28/6/2021) at 07.00 a.m, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini inspected the Tagana (Disaster Preparedness Cadets) tent in the backyard of the Ministry of Social Affairs who was preparing ready-to-eat food to be distributed to Social Welfare Institutions ( LKS).

 

The distribution target of 935 ready-to-eat food packages is for social welfare services recipients (PPKS), such as scavengers, homeless people, and beggars.

 

Previously, Minister Risma stated that the distribution of ready-to-eat food to meet food intake for beneficiaries and those affected by the pandemic was distributed gradually in the DKI Jakarta and Bekasi City areas, West Java.

 

The impact of the pandemic is not only that people lose their jobs, but they are also unable to provide the protein needed to increase body immunity during a pandemic.

 

On June 21, Minister Risma ordered Tagana to set up tents to process chicken eggs which were distributed to the public and health workers in several hospitals in DKI Jakarta and Bekasi City.

 

Each of these ready-to-eat food packages contains rice, eggs, tempeh, vegetables, mineral water, and 2 adult masks. Also, for each LKS, 2 boxes of masks for children are given with a total of 100 masks.

 

There were 11 LKS that received ready-to-eat food packages, namely LKS Kumala, Sekar, YRAP, KDM, Uswatun Hasanah, Bhakti Nurul Iman, ERBE, Swara Peduli Indonesia, YKPIM, Insan Amalia, and Balarenik.

 

Distribution of assistance for handling Covid-19 outside DKI Jakarta, assistance will be distributed to the Bekasi City Hospital, logistical assistance in the form of 5 units of family multipurpose tents; 100 units of velbed; 40 mattresses sheets; 140 sheets of blankets; and 100 pax of medical gloves.

 

In addition, the Bekasi City Hospital has also distributed 1 packet of 2,000 eggs for patients and health workers.

 

For assistance at the Wisma Atlet Covid Hospital, Central Jakarta, 2 units of family multipurpose tents and 30 verbed units were distributed.

 

MoSA will also set up Red and White Multipurpose Tents at several points, namely 5 units at the Bekasi City Hospital; 1 unit at Cengkareng Hospital; 2 Units at Wisma Atlet; 1 Unit in Kembangan Hospital; and 1 unit at the South Meruya Health Center.

 

All the Red and White Multipurpose Tents that were established were managed by Tagana.
