This was announced by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB), Abdullah Azwar Anas, at a meeting with Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini at the MoSA Office in Jakarta on Friday (19/4). During the meeting, the Minister of PAN RB conveyed the principal approval of the ASN formation within the MoSA for the 2024 Fiscal Year.
MoSA proposed 54,578 positions under its jurisdiction to improve public services. However, only 74.83 percent, or 40,839 positions, were approved, including 226 positions for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) and 40,573 positions for Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK). Minister Azwar Anas also requested that the positions for employees to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) be submitted promptly based on the president's advice.
Minister Risma stated at the time that MoSA required a large number of technical personnel, particularly in the healthcare sector, to improve public service delivery. "Alhamdulillah. Thank you for considering our proposal. Hopefully, this approval will lead to better performance in the Ministry of Social Affairs in providing services to the public," said Minister Risma.
