JAKARTA (7 July 2021) – Social Minister Tri Rismaharini ensures that all beneficiaries of the Cash Social Assistance (BST) and Family Hope Program (PKH) will receive an additional 10 kg of rice.

"BST and PKH are distributed to 10 million recipients, plus 10 kg of rice," said the Social Minister in Jakarta, Wednesday (7/7/2021).

As much as 10 kg of rice will be distributed by State Logistics Agency (Perum Bulog), considering that Bulog's network exists throughout Indonesia.

"We sent data on BST and PKH beneficiaries to Bulog and they distributed the rice through their networks throughout Indonesia," she said.

The update of BST beneficiaries data in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) has been completed since last weekend and is ready to be used in distribution.

"The priority is to distribute BST in areas that implement Emergency Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) and other places by utilizing technology, so all we have to do is just 'click'," said the Social Minister.

For the distribution of BST in May-June, the beneficiaries will receive IDR 600 thousand plus 10 kg of rice from Bulog.

"BST and PKH beneficiaries receive 10 kg of rice distributed by Bulog, not by banks," said the Social Minister.

The distribution of BST is through PT Pos Indonesia while PKH will be distributed by the State Banks Association (Himbara). The additional rice, however, will be distributed by Perum Bulog.

"Distribution has started since last week in stages after the DTKS update was carried out," said the Social Minister.

Previously, the Social Minister said that the Social Assistance was immediately disbursed this week according to the President's instructions in line with the implementation of the Java-Bali Emergency Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM), starting from 3-20 July 2021.
