MAJENE (February 13, 2022) - A total of 19 groups of mothers and young women from Aholeang and Rui Hamlets, Mekkatta Village, Malunda District, Majene Regency were trained to process cassava raw materials into ready-to-package products that have a selling value through Creation Kitchen.
Creation Kitchen is an effort from the Ministry of Social Affairs in the context of empowering survivors in evacuee camps by raising the potential of local natural resources. In the hamlets of Aholeang and Rui, many local potentials were found and tried to be developed into value products that have high selling values, including cassava, banana, and coconut.
Today (13/2), 7 groups of women and young women from Aholeang Hamlet first practiced making cassava chips, before the next day (14/2), 12 other groups from Rui Hamlet prepared to try out the same experience.
