JAKARTA (25 June 2020) - The spread of the COVID-19 outbreak is not only felt by the general public, but also students and honorary employees at the Jakarta State University. As many as 460 students and 151 honorary employees have also felt the impact of the pandemic. These students are those who have migrated and cannot return home due to limited costs.

The Head of the Planning Bureau of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Adhy Karyono, explained that the government sees the impact of COVID-19 as causing difficulties in various circles of society, including those in the campus environment, such as students and honorary employees. For this reason, the government is expanding the recipients of this COVID-19 social assistance, such as the one given to the Jakarta State University.
