SUKABUMI (December 7, 2024) - Vice Minister of Social Affairs Agus Jabo Priyono reviewed the condition of evacuees in Sukabumi on Saturday (12/7/2024), to ensure their needs were fulfilled after the flood, landslide, and shifting soil disaster that hit 39 sub-districts since Wednesday (12/4/2024).

In this emergency response, the Ministry of Social Affairs has set up public kitchens in several villages, which produce 1,500 packages of rice per day. Logistical assistance worth IDR 2.1 billion has been distributed, including ready-to-eat food, blankets, mattresses, tents, and basic necessities. The Ministry of Social Affairs is also ready to evaluate and adjust the assistance distribution if needed.
