JAKARTA (November 11, 2024) — Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) and Deputy Minister of Social Affairs Agus Jabo Priyono received a visit from Budiman Soedjatmiko, Head of the Agency for the Acceleration of Poverty Alleviation (BP Taskin), to discuss strategies for alleviating extreme poverty in Indonesia.

This collaboration will focus on creating jobs and developing a new business ecosystem so that poor and vulnerable people can be economically independent. Gus Ipul emphasized the importance of programs that are appropriate to conditions in the field, such as President Prabowo Subianto's direction so that policies are right on target and have a real impact on people's welfare.

It is hoped that this collaboration will help the extremely poor achieve economic independence and strengthen the middle class in Indonesia.
