PASURUAN (December 8, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) reviewed the handling of the flood that hit Pasuruan Regency on Sunday (8/12/2024). Gus Ipul ensured that the needs of flood victims were met by distributing assistance in the form of logistics, clothing, ready-to-eat food, and psychosocial support.

Ministry of Social Affairs has distributed assistance worth IDR 896.4 million for 9,000 affected families in several sub-districts. The assistance includes clothing, mattresses, children's food, basic necessities, as well as children's toys and milk. In addition, the Disaster Voluntary Workers (Tagana) team continues to distribute aid and set up public kitchens to accelerate post-disaster recovery.
