JAMBI (September 23, 2019) - Responding to the occurrence of haze disasters due to forest and land fires (Karhutla) in Jambi Province, the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Alyatama" Jambi opens emergency services and Safe Houses for Children in emergency situations disaster, Monday (9/23).

BRSAMPK "Alyatama" Jambi provides standard shelters and health facilities and seeks to provide air purifiers and oxygen cylinders. There are also several games that can be enjoyed by children.

The services provided are in the form of psychosocial therapy by social workers and psychologists through psychosocial assistance activities and the provision of play therapy for children and mental spiritual therapy by mental spiritual advisors and health services by nurses.

Emergency services are carried out with the support of various parties, including the Social Service and Social Worker Service Units which are in the four worst-hit areas, namely Muaro Jambi Regency, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, Sarolangun Regency, and Bungo Regency.
