CENTRAL LOMBOK (September 13, 2019) - The Quick Response Team (TRC) of the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Paramita" Mataram conducted a case response and social advocacy in Central Lombok District. There were three cases handled, namely sexual assault cases, babies with hydrocephalus and toddlers suffering from leg bone disease.
The first case response was made to respond to the problem of children who were victims of female sexual violence. The team carried out an assessment and reinforcement of victims who are still living with their mothers.
The condition of the house and the neighborhood where the victim lives is unfit for child development because on the front porch of the house, precisely at the entrance of the house, there is an animal cage.
Then in a separate place, TRC BRSAMPK "Paramita" carried out social advocacy for a one-year-old baby girl with hydrocephalus in West Praya. The condition of the baby is quite alarming with the head circumference is large enough, even though the operation has been done to the baby.
"Initially it was diagnosed by a doctor since he was in the womb. It turned out that after birth he had indeed grown in size until now. The doctor said there was a blockage in his head," said his biological mother.
