TERNATE (September 26, 2019) - Located in the tourist attraction of the clove garden in Gambesi Village, Ternate City, 29 service recipients Time Bound Shelter (TBS) program participated in psychosocial therapy activities. Psychosocial therapy is one form of implementation of Proges 5.0 NP organized by Social Rehabilitation Center for People with HIV "Wasana Bahagia" Ternate.

"Psychosocial therapy is a form of service provided by the center. We deliberately choose outdoor locations so everyone can interact with fellow service recipients and nature at the same time," said Jamila M Zen as Head of the Social Rehabilitation Services Section of "Wasana Bahagia" Ternate.


The participants consisted of three persons in TBS program for two weeks, three persons in TBS program for two months and 23 persons in TBS program for four months.


The activity began with a consultation of service recipients with accompanying social workers and continued with a group dynamic game. The aim is to combine the beneficiary's bio-psycho-social knowledge about humans and their social behavior in helping them change their personalities and behaviors towards a more positive direction in order to fulfill the functioning of the service recipient.
