BALI (September 19, 2019) - Director of Child Social Rehabilitation, Kanya Eka Santi, representing the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, opened the National Work Meeting of the Child Social Welfare Institution Forum (LKSA) - Child Social Care Institution (PSAA) which was held at Quest Hotel San, Denpasar which took place 19-21 September 2019.

National Work Meeting (Rakernas) Forum for Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA) - Child Social Care Institution (PSAA) is a meeting between the Central Management and the Provincial Management which is held at least once in one management period of the ongoing National LKSA-PSAA Forum.

In the event, Kanya conveyed the important role of the LKSA-PSAA National Forum for several reasons, including the many integrated and coordinated children's issues involving the community through the LKSA-PSAA National Forum, the paradigm shift that the LKSA-PSAA was the last alternative, and how LKSA-PSAA prevented separation of children from family.

"Human Rights, which includes children, we must give the best for children," said Kanya.

Kanya also expressed her high appreciation for the cooperation of Fornas LKSA-PSAA in the input of the Integrated Data of the Government for Social Welfare Services (PPKS).

"The achievements of the Next Generation Social Welfare Information System (SIKS NG) data input as of September 17, 2019 were 4,327 LKSAs, with 147,187 children," explained Kanya.
