TERNATE (October 9th, 2019) - In collaboration with the Ternate Health Office, "Wasana Bahagia"  Social Rehabilitation Center for People with HIV and Aids (BRSODH) Ternate provides health services for the Persons who Need Social Welfare Services (PPKS) of PLWHA Time Bound Shelter.

Health services are carried out by two consultant doctors and four nurses, twice a week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at "Wasana Bahagia" BRSODH  Ternate Polyclinic installation.

While participating in the rehabilitation program, PPKS PLWHA are vulnerable to health problems. This is due to the characteristics of the HIV virus that attacks the body's immune system.

"The health services provided at this clinic do not only focus on treatment, but also counseling and education to patients to improve or at least maintain their health," explained Wirda Albar, a general practitioner serving at the Siko Health Center in Ternate.

Self-care is one of the form of service in the PLHIV PROGRESS provided to "Wasana Bahagia" BRSODH  Ternate Time Bound Shelter PPKS. Self-care consists of curative, rehabilitative and promotive services that aim to maintain and improve the health quality of PPKS PLWHA optimally.
