Ernawati Soepandi, Middle Social Worker who attends to represent the Head of Wyata Guna Center said that Ministry of Social Affairs provides protection, empowerment, and social rehabilitation to every citizen of Indonesia.
The Vice Chairman of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives, TB. Ace Hasan Syadzilly, reveals that the garbage management handling in West Java cannot be done partially. It should be done comprehensively, both from the disposal aspect and the environmental aspect.
Commission VIII encourages West Java regional government to provide the right solution that applies in the long term, instead of the temporary solution because an incomplete solution may cause the fire to happen again which will cause the loss of livelihood of the people surrounding the Sarimukti Landfill.
“We hope that in the next few days, the beneficiary will no longer be confused about thinking about basic needs. So, please use the assistance, don’t sell it,” TB. Ace Hasan said.
Apart from that, Wyata Guna Center in Bandung invites all parties involved to be actively involved in recycling the garbage, starting from the smallest community which is a household to sort the garbage to reduce the landfill’s garbage burden.
