This basic food assistance from IndonesianRe will be delivered through Ministry of Social Affairs as one of the cooperation and synergies between the Ministry of Social Affairs and a state-owned company, namely PT. Main Indonesia Reinsurance. BUMN is present in the midst of society as a form of participation through CSR funds to help people affected by COVID-19.
Social Minister Juliari P. Batubara expressed his gratitude to PT. Reinsurance Indonesia Utama through this basic food assistance which will be distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs to people affected by COVID-19 who have not received any assistance yet.
"Of course we will distribute these 1,000 basic food packages to people affected by COVID-19 who have not received assistance, especially those in Jabodetabek. This assistance is a form of concrete concern from the business world (CSR) to work together to help people affected by COVID-19," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
President Director of PT. Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) Kocu Andre Hutagalung said this is a form of contribution from PT. Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) as a BUMN in facing Covid-19 pandemic.
"This is a form of our efforts as part of the Indonesian people to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic," explained Kocu Andre Hutagalung.
Apart from distributing food packages, PT. Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) has previously distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Masks, and Disinfectants to Hospitals in the Jakarta and Bogor areas.
