BANTEN (August 7th, 2020) - Ministry of Social Affairs was not feel tired to share and spread kindness by finding those who have not received assistance in this difficult conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The residents of Rawa Lele Village, Jombang, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City, Banten Province did not passed the attention of Dharma Wanita Advisor Association Grace Batubara with the Members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Ministry of Social Affairs.

"We received information that residents of RT 01 RW 17, Kampung Rawa Lele, here have not received any assistance. Therefore, we are here to provide assistance. Hopefully it can help everyone  who really need it", said Grace Batubara.

Grace Batubara handed over 200 packages of basic food assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs to Sahad, the head of RT 01 RW 17 and to 5 representatives of the residents of RT 01 RW 17.

The arrival of Grace Batubara and the entourage was welcomed by Hasanudin, Head of Jombang Urban Village, who appreciated the extraordinary attention from the Ministry of Social Affairs to Jombang people.

"Some of our residents earn daily, weekly and monthly income. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, all of them have been affected. Those with daily income are like small traders, some are closed due to lack of buyers. Employees with weekly income, some have been sent home because the company collapsed. With this assistance, we would like to thank the Ministry of Social Affairs, especially Mrs. Grace Batubara ", said Hasanudin.

The help of the Ministry of Social Affairs is very meaningful to the residents of Rawa Lele Village, who are enthusiastic about the presence of Grace Batubara in their village. One of them is Salmah, a resident who received a symbolic food package from Grace Batubara.

"Everyday I help my son to sell coffee, help him to fry bakwan. I do also wants to have money by myself. I thank the Ministry of Social Affairs, thank God for the assistance. The important thing is I am healthy, the one who gives this help may also be healthy", said Salmah.

Ratmi's face seems happy when Grace Batubara visited her house and directly gave her a package of basic food containing rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, and canned fish.

"Thank you for your help, thank you for the assistance, because I'm at home now only opening small stalls", said Ratmi.

Not separated from the attention of Grace Batubara and his entourage is Karimah Hasanah. Toddlers aged 1 year 3 months who experience Multiple Congenital Mal Formation or lack of some organs in her body.

Ananda Karimah's father, Dedi Rait, is a chair repairer has had no income for almost 4 months.

"With this pandemic, my job is totally stopped. Meanwhile, every Sunday, Karimah must go to see the doctor, especially after surgery. The doctor said that Karimah must undergo treatment and surgery gradually until the age of 17 years, from the legs to the face," said Dedi Rait. .

Grace Batubara, accompanied by Director of Management of Social Assistance Funds Resources, Hotman, handed over assistance sourced from domestic grants to ananda Karimah Hasanah amounting to Rp. 5 million. This assistance is given to help the daily expenses of Karimah family.

At the same time, the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and Co-Founder of Kitabisa.com, Muhammad Alfatih Timur, also handed over a fund of Rp. 20 million from the collection of community donations through Kitabisa.com, and this number is still growing until the specified time limit. This assistance will be used for the treatment and surgery of Karimah Hasanah's ananda.
