PRINGSEWU (January 23, 2022) - Heavy rain which caused the overflow of the Way Semak river in Pringsewu Barat Village on Sunday (23/1/2022) at around 11.00 p.m left tremendous pain for residents living on the riverbanks. There were about 4 families affected, but Juned's house, where he lived with his wife and 2 children, seemed the worst. In addition, household appliances, kitchens, electronics, and drinking utensils were dragged down by the flood.

"We were also flooded with half a sack of rice left," said Atikah, Juned's wife sadly.

Agus Purnomo, Functional Disaster Analyst of Pringsewu Regency BPBD, together with Imam Muttaqin, Independent Social Activist, Volunteer of Pringsewu and Agus Edi Subowo, Gadingrejo District Social Welfare Officer (TKSK), communicated with several donors and immediately distributed aid after the flood Tuesday (25/01/2022)

Agus said that this assistance is a form of concern for social activists to residents affected by the flood victims some time ago.

"As for the assistance from PP Putra Mandiri Margodadi, Church Management of Santo Yusup Pringsewu, CV Simbolon Pringsewu and other donors, we are only trusted to distribute it to Juned's family," added Agus Purnomo.

The types of assistance provided are in the form of a Gas Stove, 1 Hose and Regulator, 20 Kg Rice, 1 Floor Mattress, 3 Kg 1 Gas Tube, 1 Magic Com Miyako, 1 Canned Wafer Bread, 10 Pieces of Laundry Soap, and Rp. 500,000.
