JAKARTA (March 2nd 2020) - The Ministry of Social Affairs distributes beneficiary compensation for victims of floods and landslides after heavy rains in Depok and Tangerang cities worth a total of IDR 120 Million. Compensation is given to the heirs, a total of eight, each amounting to IDR 15 Million.

The delivery of compensation assistance in Depok City was carried out by a member of Commission VIII DPR RI, Nur Azizah Tamhid, accompanied by the Head of the Sub-directorate (Kasubdit) for Social Recovery and Strengthening of the Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), Pudak Bektiwidari.

In addition, there were also members of the West Java Provincial DPRD, Imam Budi Hartono, Head of the Depok City Social Services Agency, Usman Haliyana, the Cinere sub-district, village heads, RW and RT Pangkalan Jati Baru. The flood that occurred in early January 2020 resulted in three deaths in the Depok City area. Compensation is given to three heirs with a total of IDR 45 Million.

Meanwhile, floods in Tangerang City that occurred in early January 2020 resulted in landslides and claimed five lives. The distribution of compensation was handed over by a member of Commission VIII DPR RI, Ali Taher, to the five heirs of the victim who were housed at the Tangerang City Social Services Agency. Compensation is given to five heirs with a total of IDR 75 Million.
