PRINGSEWU (13 January 2022) - Due to heavy rains that occurred on Thursday (13/1) at around 5 p.m, the land subsided 2 meters wide on the south side of the bridge on the road linking Pekon Waya Krui, Banyumas District, Pringsewu Regency, and Sri Village Way Langsep, Kalirejo District, Central Lampung Regency so that it cannot be passed by any type of vehicle.

 

However, back on Saturday, 16/1/2022 after heavy rain coincided with the arrival of the Pringsewu Regency BPBD Team led directly by Agus Purnomo, the Young Expert Disaster Analyst Functional with the Pekon Apparatus and Joko Supriyono, the Head of Tagana Pringsewu, who reviewed the bridge, it also collapsed due to the erosion of the bridge retaining soil.

 

Finally, after a Quick Study was carried out with one of the considerations that the road became access for farmers to work on the fields and other economic activities, today Wednesday, 19/1//2022, community service was carried out which involved various elements other than the local community.

 

The Pringsewu TNI Disaster Management and Fire Team, Tagana mingled with the community hand in hand filling sacks with sand to fill the collapsed soil and lift coconut trees to be used as emergency bridges.

 

"Indeed, our target is to make at least a bridge that can be made by bicycles and motorbikes so that people's activities can run and not go back to Nusawungu and Mulyorejo," said Agus Purnomo, Coordinator of the Pringsewu BPBD Team.

 

Meanwhile, Khoiri, the Head of Pekon Waya Krui, together with several Kaur and other officials, also took part in community service.
